How to Join

Step 1

Step 2

Attend a Squadron meeting.  Parents, we want you to come in and talk with us about your child's participation.  We require that you attend three (3) meetings before continuing on with the application process to ensure that CAP is a good fit for you and your needs. Parents, we encourage you to stay and see what CAP is all about.

Step 3

After attending your third meeting, you will sit down with some members of the Squadron and we will answer any final questions you may have.  For adults, we will also discuss what part or parts of the program you are interested in volunteering for. Next we will give you information on how to join.

Step 4

Cadets: Complete the Membership Application.  We will provide you with the information on how to apply online.

Adults: Complete the Membership Application, FD 258 Fingerprint Card (we will issue you a fingerprint card) and bring credit card or check for your membership dues

Step 5 

Cadets: After you complete the online application, it gets submitted electronically to the Squadron Commander for review and approval.  At the next meeting, please bring a check for $60 for Squadron dues, made out to: "NJ Wing - Units"

Adults: After filling out the application, getting your fingerprints and bringing a check or credit card, we will review and process your application.  Adult applications are mailed to National Headquarters.
